alan Jeffsan Mechatronics Engineer 3

About Me

I’m a Mechatronics and Automation engineering student currently based in Chennai, working remotely as an intern with Esperia Design Studio, a U.S.-based company specializing in innovative product design. I bring hands-on experience from my time at Daimler India and global exposure through my work on the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge. I’m passionate about designing intelligent systems that merge mechanics, electronics, and creativity to solve real-world challenges.

My Projects

My journey through engineering has been driven by a passion for solving real-world problems through intelligent design, automation, and interdisciplinary innovation. Each project I’ve undertaken reflects a blend of creativity, technical rigor, and practical application—ranging from robotics and smart systems to socially impactful solutions. Whether developing assistive technology or sustainable automation tools, I strive to design systems that are not just functional, but meaningful in their context.
From leading the mechanical and electronic design of a NASA Human Exploration Rover, to developing a patented AI-powered smart dustbin system (DASBINEO), my projects showcase hands-on experience with embedded systems, sensor integration, CAD modeling, and control logic. Ongoing developments like the Pneumatic Exoskeleton Arm, Skyscraper Window-Cleaning Robot, and Automated Physiotherapy Massager continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in human-centric and intelligent automation. These experiences have been key in shaping my engineering mindset and reinforcing my commitment to purposeful innovation.
